This is a biggie...obviously I get kind of worked up about acoustic treatment because it's a neglected subject in the home recording world. Invest a little time and money in properly treating your listening space and it'll pay dividends for the entire life of your studio. Also, FORGET THE FOAM! Foam sucks. Use at least 4" of mineral wool or rigid fiberglass instead. You'll be glad that you did. Enjoy!
