Produced on iPhone 3g the third eP from A Submitter, 2010, just before it was due for upgrade, the last track the vocals were recorded on an iPhone 4, a different impression since the iPhone 3g mic was very telephone as it is intended for, I think I mastered the app Beatmaker 1 by this time, I wanted to produce a thematic production, with a stream of whatever, I recorded a bird singing at dawn during the summer, couldn't tell you what type, and it was quite faint from my room, I sat in my Aero Aarnio track and produced a track that morning, the next day a track from Pakistan, I really liked, having heard it before, it was on television so I recorded a bit of it, the third track 3i, included a stream of Tunepad I think, and the fourth a stream of hanging drum, the fifth I think was a flute player which reminded a little of the Middle East and Arabia, so I titled it Desert, there is a track in between, but another theme I continued with this production was the bass sounds, in each track there was a varying bass, the first six tracks were without vocals and the last six tracks were with vocals, I made really quiet the whole recording, I wanted it to be allowed to drift and fit in the background, as I also intended with the first two ePs...But this eP was a lot more creative and original with many new sounds and streams from different sources from the iOS music scene which I'd record into my computer and then import into Beatmaker. Beatmaker 1 was great, with just 16 pads, but it could also mean sixteen tracks, as each iPhone had better ram memory capacity and better processing, you could record more stuff...Which was great, but to get it mastered cost alot, and the exported recordings in Beatmaker were needing mastering. I attempted to get it mastered, to get the ball rolling commercially since it was sounded profession, which the first two ePs didn't at the time, since they were not mastered, I tried getting it mastered, but it was nuisance and not at all any thing done which increased the gain or anything, it was an old fashion mastering where they would clip the intros and outros which ruined my work, so instead I had to wait until there was an app for mastering, which was another welcome surprise, Audio Mastering app, with this app I could remaster all my ePs which were about 12 and rerelease them, which I did through cdbaby in late 2012 onwards...
