Swarovski presented itself as a master of light at Baselworld 2013. Developed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, its "Wings of Sparkle" stand offered visitors an intense, light-filled experience incorporating the kind of trend awareness, modern luxe, precision technology, and glamour for which the company is renowned. An LED-lit façade with over 250,000 mirrored hexagons and a prominent location surrounding the atrium encouraged guests to explore Swarovski's crystalline cosmos. The two-level, 2,000 m2 stand was almost seven times larger than in 2012. Products from various areas of the company were presented in displays inspired by natural crystal growth, with a striking crystal wall separating the bar and press zone from the exhibition area. Color and light enhanced the visual interplay between multifaceted products, refined interiors, premium materials, and pioneering technology. Lights and glistening accents created an elegant ambience befitting the brand -- clear, linear, uncluttered. Not only visitors could enjoy the presentation: an extensive social media campaign ensured that "Wings of Sparkle" also captured the imagination of a global audience online.
