If the vehicle's without 4 pin plug, you can try to cut it and connect the cable directly according to the picture My Review: I really like the new 60 inch tail-light and was excited to get it installed so I could see how it would look. This LED light strip is really bright, the lights can be seen from quite away. There are 90 SMD (surface-mount device light-emitting diode module) LED, 60 of these lights are red, and 30 are white. I have not hooked up the extra white wire yet, which will activate the reverse lights nor have I hooked up the extra yellow wire which is for headlight. All the LEDs are type 2835 SMD. The 60 inch strip comes in what looks to be an electric shielded bag; it is about a ¾" wide epoxy waterproof (IP65) rubber strip. The strip has peel off 3m taped on the back side that bonds really well to the surface it's being attached to. The strip fit perfectly across the back of my truck. After feeding the wires behind the back bumper, I used a 4-pin female adaptor to plug the 4-pin male power wire into. Tale-light, brake-light and both left/right blinkers worked great. Later I will install a permanent four pin hook-up so I don't have to use the adapter plus I'll be hooking up the extra white wire for the reverse lights. Be sure to clean the surface of the application really well so you get the best bound posable and you'll need a few zip-ties to tie the excess wire up out of the way. The light strip is really cool looking and makes the back of my truck even more visible at night.
