How Fix Your Computers Usb Ports If They Stop Working(responding)Restart in Diagnostic Mode/start up It worked for me but I can't say for sure that it will work for you but its definitely worth a try.. First click on start..then run...type msconfig..press enter....when the window appears click on Diagnostic Start up...then click Apply...the OK..when prompted to restart your computer click restart. Let Windows load and see if your usb devices respond...if the do..go to msconfig again but this time click normal start up...then apply....then ok...then restart...let windows load in normal mode and check to see if your usb devices respond....if so you're done...if not you'll have to troubleshoot some more.
