Today we will show you how to configure the Advanced Device-Based E-mail Client Setup using HTC Inspire™ 4G First we will show you how to set up the device based Email. - From the Home screen, tap Mail. Please Note: If you already set up an E-mail account, press the Menu key from the Inbox, and then tap Accounts list- New account. - then tap Other (POP3/IMAP). - Now tap Manual setup. - Next enter Incoming settings: • Protocol: POP/APOP/IMAP • Email address • Username • Password • POP server • Security type: None/SSL/TLS • Server port - Here tap Next. - Enter Outgoing server settings: • Login required: Check or uncheck box. • Username • Password • SMTP server • Security type: None/SSL/TLS • Server Port - Here tap Next. - Then Enter "Account name" and "Your name" for the Email account. - Finally tap Finish setup.
