This is a Virtual Set Made for Alter Channel back in 2003. It was a 3-camera setup using the Thoma Infrared Tracking System. The presentation was not scripted , the anchor man was improvising when he was describing the series of events for any given day of the 2003 Iraq Invasion. A Special Control Panel was created using the vizrt programming API , where the gfx operator was controling all the graphical elements. The anchorman was describing and the gfx operator was operating the graphics accordingly. This implementation was given an innovation award in NAB 2003 .
