Convert Illustrator to QuarkXPress with PDF2DTP from Markzware. A customer asked us, "Hello, we are wanting to be able to open Adobe Illustrator files in QuarkXPress so that they are workable. We are currently on Illustrator..." - this got me thinking. In Illustrator CS4 or higher (CS5, CS5.5 and CS6) you by default save .AI artwork with "PDF compatibility." This can be turned on or off at the time is saving and thus this trick here will only likely work when it is turned on. Cannot say this is a guaranteed feature from Markzware for PDF2DTP at this stage, however it appears to convert .ai Illustrator artwork, even with text on curved lines, right into QuarkXPress or a .qxp project or DTP layout!
